Czech Republic striker Tomáš Čvančara, 26, was reportedly offered to La Liga club Valencia on Tuesday. The transfer was not completed because Valencia did not sign a new forward before the Spanish transfer window closed at midnight. The player remains at Borussia Mönchengladbach. According to Bild, the club has been actively working to find a new team for him. Čvančara has 8 caps and 1 goal for his country, is under contract until 2028, and has a current Transfermarkt market value of €2.00m. He joined Gladbach from Sparta Prague in July 2023 for a reported €10.5M. It was also reported in May 2026 that Celtic would not be exercising an €8M purchase option after a loan spell.
