Viktoria Plzeň made a third attempt to re-sign their former striker, Tomáš Chorý. According to iSport.cz, Plzeň submitted an offer to Slavia for 3.5 million euros plus 1.5 million in bonuses. The reigning champions immediately rejected the proposal, as they had with previous bids. The website inFotbal.cz reported that the total offer was as high as five million euros. Slavia considers the experienced striker a key figure, and a transfer was not an option. Plzeň had been monitoring their former player since before the season began, and West Ham had also reportedly inquired about him in the past. A Tuesday meeting between Chorý and the owner of Slavia settled the matter, with both parties agreeing that a transfer is not possible at this time. The player will remain at the club for at least the current transfer window.
