The midfielder's contract with Lazio is set to expire. However, this is currently a path the Roma management has not yet explored in depth, as they remain concentrated on more immediate priorities. Bašić, who has been capped twice by Croatia, has made 12 appearances, scored one goal, and provided two assists in Serie A this season. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €2.50m. Other clubs linked with the midfielder include Empoli and AEK Athens.
