Tom Vandenberghe has been demoted to third-choice goalkeeper at AA Gent. According to Het Nieuwsblad, AA Gent would not have said no to his departure this summer.

Belgian Tom Vandenberghe, 32, is allowed to look for a new club as he risks falling down the pecking order with the return of the first-choice goalkeeper. His contract is set to expire on June 30, 2027, and his market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €400k.
