According to Germanijak, 24-year-old French midfielder Tom Lacoux has joined HNK Gorica from Ujpest. HNK Gorica officially confirmed the signing. Lacoux did not play any minutes in the first five matches of the season in Hungary, and Gorica acted before the end of the transfer window to secure him.

Following a poor start to the season, Gorica is seeking midfield reinforcements and a realistic option is Tom Lacoux. The French midfielder joined Újpest last season but has not played in the first five matches of the current campaign. Initial contact has already been established with Gorica, with one option being a mutual contract termination.
