Toby Steward is expected to return to McDiarmid Park for a second period to play in the top flight in Scotland. Portsmouth are expected to permit the goalkeeper to rejoin the Perth outfit following their promotion to the Scottish Premiership. Steward was given permission to join St Johnstone 12 months ago and made 45 appearances in all competitions in the past season.
