Sampdoria's Jesper Fredberg and Americo Branco are targeting Sparta Rotterdam's 28-year-old Norwegian forward Tobias Lauritsen to strengthen their attack. They are interested in the physical and experienced striker, who has scored in double figures for four consecutive seasons in the Eredivisie. It is reported that Americo Branco is familiar with the 196cm tall player from his past role at Fortuna Sittard. However, securing the transfer will not be simple, as Lauritsen has also attracted interest from major Dutch clubs, including PSV Eindhoven and Feyenoord, as well as British sides Celtic Glasgow and Leicester. His current market value is €3.50m, according to Transfermarkt.
