Tim Drexler Transfer from TSG Hoffenheim to Nürnberg

Kicker reports on Tim Drexler's imminent permanent move to 1. FC Nürnberg. Tim Drexler is on the verge of a permanent move back to 1. FC Nürnberg, where he was previously on loan for six months. A further loan is ruled out. He was also highly regarded by Dynamo Dresden, but he is now expected to return to FCN under the management of Miroslav Klose.

In the final phase of negotiations, Nürnberg surpassed Magdeburg to secure the loan of Tim Drexler from Hoffenheim. Nürnberg's management reportedly persuaded Drexler through personal discussions about the sporting prospects in the Frankenland region. Although Drexler had initially been set for a loan move to Magdeburg, the 19-year-old defender, who had recently signed his first professional contract with Hoffenheim until 2027, was convinced by Nürnberg's late efforts. Drexler is set to join Nürnberg on loan until the end of the season, with no purchase option included in the agreement. This transfer makes him the second Hoffenheim player to join Nürnberg this season, following Julian Justvan's move in August.
