Bayer Leverkusen is contemplating the acquisition of Tiago Tomás to bolster their offensive lineup. This interest comes as a protective measure against potential exits in their forward positions, with Victor Boniface notably being a likely candidate for departure. Tomás, who appeared in 32 league matches and netted eight goals last season for VfL Wolfsburg, is reportedly open to transferring within the Bundesliga, despite his contract running until 2027. Wolfsburg, while appreciating his contributions, would entertain offers, especially with his release clause set at 30 million euros, though they would agree to a deal at 17 million euros. Additionally, ten percent of the transfer fee would be allocated to his former club Sporting. Alongside Bayer Leverkusen, Atlético Madrid has also expressed interest in the 23-year-old forward.
