Thomas Kaminski Transfer from Luton Town to Anderlecht

Anderlecht has shown interest in Thomas Kaminski and has made a proposal to bring him back to their club. Kaminski is open to returning to Anderlecht, where he previously played between 2012 and 2016. Currently, he is in his last contract year with Luton Town, whose coach, Matt Bloomfield, wants to keep him. Kaminski has a market value of 1.3 million euros, but Luton Town is not expected to receive a significant transfer fee. He earns more than one million euros annually in England, a salary Standard Liège couldn't afford.

Anderlecht is focusing on the potential return of Thomas Kaminski to Lotto Park. Despite recent speculations linking Kaminski to Standard, it is understood that he prefers a move back to Anderlecht, as it would allow him to be closer to his family in the Brussels area. Kaminski had a previous stint with Anderlecht from 2012 to 2016. While Colin Coosemans has been acknowledged as Anderlecht's Player of the Year and has performed impressively this season, the club is actively pursuing the acquisition of a new goalkeeper. The 32-year-old Kaminski, currently playing for Luton Town and with one cap for the Belgian national team, is anticipated to bring both experience and competition to the team. His return to Anderlecht could signify a major development, potentially resulting in intense competition with Coosemans for the starting goalkeeper role, while the future of Mads Kikkenborg at the club remains uncertain.
