Journalist Sacha Tavolieri reported on Wednesday that Viborg rejected a €6 million proposal from Toulouse for Thomas Jørgensen. The Danish club is demanding €10 million to release the player.

According to Bold.dk, Toulouse has reportedly made a bid of 6 million euros for Thomas Jørgensen, a player for Viborg. The club recently hired Jens Berthel Askou as head coach.

Toulouse had scouts present at Viborg's recent Danish Superligaen match against AGF to observe Danish midfielder Thomas Jørgensen. Representatives from SC Heerenveen, Standard Luik, Hoffenheim, KRC Genk, LOSC Lille, and Sparta Praag were also in attendance. Tipsbladet separately states that Braga has maintained a long-standing interest in the 20-year-old player. The publication also predicts that larger clubs will eventually attempt to sign him, suggesting the current interest is only a small part of the total expected interest. In the 2025/2026 season, Jørgensen has 3 goals and 7 assists in 24 Superliga appearances and has earned 12 caps for the Denmark U21 team, scoring 2 goals. He joined Viborg in August 2024 from FC Copenhagen for a fee of €600,000 and has a contract that runs until June 2028. His current Transfermarkt market value is €4.00m.
