Randers FC manager Rasmus Bertelsen does not anticipate that his side will exercise their buy option for Hibernian striker Thibault Klidje this summer. Bertelsen admitted that Randers have not ruled out a permanent deal, but that he will need to see more from the Hibs loanee if his side are to pay a significant transfer fee. Bertelsen said it will be a significant investment for them, and also for a salary, and that he thinks if a permanent deal is to happen, then Klidje needs to be more important for the team.

The Togolese forward Thibault Klidje has moved on loan to the Danish club Randers, six months after he arrived in Edinburgh. Klidje was signed from the Swiss club Luzern in July of the previous year for a fee of more than £1m. In an announcement of his arrival, Randers declared that they had negotiated an option to buy. A release from Hibs stated that both Gray and Mackay said Klidje would be welcomed back for pre-season.

Thibault Klidje, Hibs' club-record signing, has joined Danish club Randers on loan for the rest of the season. The Togolese international made a limited impact in the first half of the campaign, and manager David Gray stated that the move provides Klidje with an opportunity to get game time. Sporting director Malky Mackay described the move as being appropriate for the player in the short term and expects him to be back at Easter Road in July.
