Panathinaikos' Brazilian winger Tetê revealed in an interview with Brazilian journalist and YouTuber Cartolouco that he received approaches from Cruzeiro, Flamengo, Botafogo, and Fluminense during the recent transfer window. Following his comments, Brazilian media reported that Cruzeiro had been targeting the 25-year-old and that the club's management might renew their interest in January. Panathinaikos, who have Tetê under contract until 2028, were reportedly unwilling to let the player go unless a 'crazy' offer was made. Most of the interested clubs were said to have sought a loan with an option to buy. Tetê stated a desire to one day return to Brazil to play professionally but decided to remain in Europe, where he is happy. According to Transfermarkt, the player has a current market value of €11 million.
