Teddy Teuma Transfer from Reims to Standard Liège

Teddy Teuma has left Reims and joined Standard Liege, a move that returns him to Belgium. Teuma had joined Reims in the summer of 2023 from Union Saint-Gilloise. His period at Reims included 69 official appearances and 23 goal contributions. Teuma expressed gratitude towards Reims in a farewell message.

Maltese international Teddy Teuma is nearing a return to Belgium, with Standard having shown strong interest in the 32-year-old midfielder. An agreement with the former Union Saint-Gilloise player is reportedly close to being finalized. He has registered 4 goals and 5 assists in 14 Ligue 2 matches. If the move proceeds, he would join on a six-month contract that includes an option for an extension. The transfer from Reims, which he joined in July 2023, would be a free transfer, provided he can find an agreement with his current club. His contract at Reims runs until 2027, and negotiations between the player and the club are still ongoing. Teuma, who also holds French citizenship, has 48 caps and 5 goals for Malta. His current Transfermarkt market value is €2.50m.
