Tarik Muharemović Transfer from Sassuolo to Bologna

Sassuolo president Giovanni Carnevali said the club has already had some approaches for Muharemovic, confirming one from Inter but not from Bournemouth. He added that Bologna also asked about the player on a recent night, but clarified that there are no official requests.

An update from Tuttomercato states that Bologna has inquired about Tarik Muharemovic but is unlikely to proceed beyond information requests. Sassuolo values Muharemovic between 20 and 25 million euros.

According to reports, Bologna is not likely to do more than request information for Muharemovic and is already focusing on other, less expensive targets.

Giovanni Carnevali stated that Bologna asked about Tarik Muharemovic recently.

Bologna is interested in Tarik Muharemovic, a Bosnian central defender born in 2003 who plays for Sassuolo and developed in the Juventus youth system. The club's technical director, Sartori, was reportedly seen in the stands at Sinigaglia Stadium to watch Muharemovic play in the match between Como and Sassuolo. Bologna's interest is part of a market strategy to add young talent to their defense for manager, Italiano, particularly considering the possible departure of Lucumi between January and June. Sartori's observation could suggest that the club is preparing to make an offer for the player, on whose future resale Juventus holds 50% of the rights. Muharemović, who joined Sassuolo in July 2025, has a contract with the club until June 2031 and has been capped 10 times for Bosnia-Herzegovina, scoring one goal. This season in Serie A, he has made 10 appearances and provided one assist. His market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €7.00m. In addition to Bologna's interest, Inter and Juventus have also been linked with the defender.
