A French recruiter for a Premier League club stated his belief that Lyon would have been open to selling Tanner Tessmann this winter, explaining the player is not a suitable fit for Paulo Fonseca's system. Brentford approached the player, however, the move did not particularly interest Tessmann. The midfielder is under contract with Lyon until 2029 and has made 23 appearances and scored one goal in Ligue 1 this season.
