Takefusa Kubo leaving Real Sociedad?

Real Sociedad will not play in European competitions next season, making it difficult to retain top talents like Takefusa Kubo. According to El Diario Vasco, any club interested in Kubo must pay his release clause of 60 million euros. Real Madrid, his former club, will receive 50% of the profit from any potential transfer. Kubo was sold to Real Sociedad for 6.5 million euros in 2022.

Takefusa Kubo has expressed dissatisfaction with the current situation at Real Sociedad, citing a lack of dominance and difficulty in achieving good results, which may prompt him to consider a new challenge in the summer. Despite being under contract until June 2029, Kubo's comments suggest he may be open to a transfer if the club fails to secure a European spot and continues to decline.

Real Madrid retains an option to match any future offers for Kubo, allowing them to buy him back at the same price if Kubo wishes to return. Additionally, Real Madrid holds a 50% stake in any capital gain from a future transfer of Kubo from Real Sociedad.

Takefusa Kubo received an offer from a Saudi Arabian club but expressed disinterest in moving there. He stated his desire to play in an elite league against the best players rather than moving for financial reasons. He mentioned that if Saudi Arabia becomes the best league in the world from a sporting perspective, he might consider it in the future. However, he currently sees it as attractive only financially and prefers to stay in a top league.

Takefusa Kubo has been linked with clubs from Saudi Arabia, but he has clearly rejected the idea of moving there, stating that he prefers quality football over financial incentives. His words were, 'I like good football, not expensive football.'

Bayern de Múnich is interested in Takefusa Kubo as they evaluate options to cover the potential departure of Leroy Sané. Kubo's technical skills, experience in La Liga, and youth make him an attractive long-term investment. Real Sociedad is aware of this interest and has set a release clause of approximately 60 million euros.

Last summer, Takefusa Kubo rejected a super economic offer from a club in Saudi Arabia. His market value remains high, and he is a crucial player both on and off the field for Real Sociedad.

Takefusa Kubo has attracted interest from numerous European clubs, particularly Liverpool. The club from Donostia has emphasized their intent to remain calm, frequently asserting that there have been no negotiations with any parties. Nevertheless, Kubo's recent performances and increased market value have made him a target for Liverpool. Although Kubo recently extended his contract with Real Sociedad, he was unexpectedly benched during the second game of the season, which caused visible frustration.

Takefusa Kubo received a significant offer from a club in Saudi Arabia. He was offered a salary of 40 million euros per season with a four-year contract. However, Kubo declined the offer, stating that his priority is to play against and with the best players in the world, and he does not currently consider the Saudi league to be at that level.
