Taiga Seguchi, an 18-year-old Japanese left midfielder from the Vissel Kobe academy, is training with Górnik Zabrze's first team during their summer training camp. His visit is part of a cooperation between the two clubs, which was established in late 2024, and Lukas Podolski was important in its establishment. Considered one of the most talented players in his academy, Seguchi has not yet debuted for Vissel Kobe's senior team but for the U-18 squad, he has 13 goals and 16 assists in 45 appearances. He also has experience with Japan's U-17 national team, for which he scored four goals and provided one assist in 16 matches, and he contributed to the team's advancement to the quarter-finals of the previous year's U-17 World Cup. His contract with Vissel Kobe runs until June 30, 2029, and he has made one appearance for the Japan U19 team.
