A BOLA reports that Estrela da Amadora has signed Sydney van Hooijdonk. On Wednesday, the Dutch striker was at Reboleira, where he underwent the required medical examinations and subsequently signed a contract with the club valid for two and a half seasons, until 2028.

Sydney van Hooijdonk, a 25-year-old Dutch forward, rescinded his contract with NAC Breda to join Estrela da Amadora. A total agreement is in place between the parties for a contract valid for the next two and a half seasons, binding Sydney van Hooijdonk to Estrela da Amadora until June 2028. He is expected in Lisbon to undergo medical examinations and physical tests. If everything proceeds as planned, the official signing of the contract will take place immediately, allowing him to join the technical team as soon as possible. The Netherlands U21 international joined NAC Breda in January 2025 and has a current market value of €1.30m, according to Transfermarkt. Avellino had also been linked with the player.
