Syd Agina, a 19-year-old defender for Stoke City who holds both Kenyan and English citizenship, has joined National League club Tamworth on loan until November 1. This move follows a previous loan to Forest Green Rovers that began in July and was expected to continue until January, but it was terminated early. The termination of his time at Forest Green, where he made four league starts, occurred one day after manager Robbie Savage left the club for Peterborough United. A statement from Stoke City noted that the under-21s full-back, who recently received his first senior cap for Kenya, will join his Stoke teammate Gabriel Kelly at Tamworth. His market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €200k.
