Austrian midfielder Sven Sprangler has joined League Two side Walsall from Scottish Premiership club St Johnstone on a two-year deal. The midfielder, who was on loan at Newport County for the second half of last season, told the club website that his conversations with the manager were an important reason for his decision, as their ideas on how to play football were in agreement.
