Crvena Zvezda has expressed a desire to bring back central defender Strahinja Eraković from Zenit, amid reported disagreements between the player and Zenit's head coach, Sergey Semak. The Serbian team is considering a move for the 24-year-old Serbian international, who is a product of their academy, during the winter transfer window. However, they may have competition, primarily from Turkish club Beşiktaş. Eraković has 18 caps and one goal for his country. He transferred from Crvena Zvezda to Zenit in the summer of 2023 for a fee reported to be €8.0 million, and his current contract is valid until the summer of 2027. This season, he has made 12 appearances in the Premier Liga. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €7.50m.
