Stole Dimitrievski Transfer from Valencia to Genoa
According to AS, Stole Dimitrievski has decided to leave Valencia during the next winter transfer window. The Macedonian goalkeeper's decision was due to his inability to compete for a starting position. His agency has received proposals for an immediate departure from teams including Genoa and other European clubs.
Genoa, Club Brugge, and Bournemouth are following Valencia's North Macedonian goalkeeper Stole Dimitrievski. The 32-year-old has only played in two Copa del Rey matches this season and is mostly waiting for opportunities to play. He believes he is deserving of more than a role as a backup. It is reported that Dimitrievski wants to leave the club because he estimates that competing for the primary goalkeeper position at Valencia is impossible. This desire to leave comes after he expressed public frustration during a podcast in November. In the podcast, he mentioned his surprise at a "clause-like situation" concerning the competition for his position and the subsequent decrease in his playing time. The club's response led to Dimitrievski issuing an apology and being given a financial penalty. The North Macedonia international has 85 caps for his country. He joined Valencia in July 2024, and his contract is valid until June 2026. According to Transfermarkt, his current valuation is €2.00m.
