Persija, a club competing in the Indonesian football league, has officially announced the signing of Stjepan Loncar. The 29-year-old Bosnian midfielder, who has been capped 11 times for his country, joins from the Croatian club Istra, where he had established himself as a key player. Lončar previously played for Ferencváros, which had loaned him to Belgian side Kortrijk and Kazakh club Astana before his permanent departure in 2024. His contract with Persija is valid until June 2028. According to reports from July 2026, the transfer fee was €300,000, while the player's current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €1.20m.
