Stije Resink Transfer from FC Groningen to PSV

Stije Resink, who is strongly linked with PSV during this transfer window, has indicated that he expects to finish the season at FC Groningen and that no concrete offer has been received yet. Resink said that he will not simply leave the club, but added that if a good offer comes, a transfer might happen.
Mike Verweij suspects that FC Groningen midfielder Stije Resink has the option to choose between Ajax, PSV, and Feyenoord. Verweij says that if players depart from PSV, the club will also show interest in Resink.
According to Voetbalprimeur.nl, Stije Resink is of explicit interest to PSV. The report states De Trots van het Noorden can ask for any price for the midfielder during the winter transfer window. In the summer, a release clause in the contract of Stije Resink becomes active, making him available for about six million euros.
According to De Telegraaf, PSV has placed Stije Resink on a list of potential replacements should Joey Veerman transfer to Fenerbahçe. The same publication reports that the 22-year-old FC Groningen captain is also the subject of strong interest from Ajax. Ajax is expected to wait until the summer to make a move, at which point a buyout clause in his contract of around six million euros reportedly becomes active. De Telegraaf adds that Sebastian Szymański and Gustavo Hamer are also among the alternative candidates PSV is considering. The club is exploring these options because their preferred candidate, Kodai Sano, was deemed too expensive, according to De Telegraaf. Rik Elfrink of Eindhovens Dagblad reports that PSV will not pay NEC's twenty million euro asking price for Sano.
