Steve Kapuadi Transfer from Legia Warszawa to Anderlecht
Steve Kapuadi has been offered a three-year contract by Anderlecht. The Belgian club is prepared to pay approximately 1.5 million euros for the defender. Although Legia Warszawa had previously been open to offers around 5 million euros, no club has shown willingness to meet that price. Anderlecht is demonstrating strong interest in acquiring the 27-year-old and has proposed a contract that extends until June 30, 2028. Nonetheless, Legia Warszawa might be hesitant to part with him as they are aiming for advancement in European competitions. Kapuadi has played a crucial role for Legia, particularly in their journey to the quarterfinals of the Conference League, and his current contract is valid until mid-2026. While Legia could gain financially from the transfer, their priority is to secure a spot in the main stages of the Europa League or Conference League, which makes them reluctant to release the Congolese defender at this stage of the season.
