Stefan Opriș, aged 19, has signed a contract with Dinamo Bucureşti that runs until 2029. The U21-eligible player arrived on a free transfer from Universitatea Cluj, his former club. According to Cornel Șfaițer, he accepted the player following a recommendation from Universitatea Cluj because he was aware of his qualities. Șfaițer also expressed surprise that Universitatea Cluj allowed a player of Opris's value to leave for free, suggesting the situation was not handled well, especially since the player fulfilled the 'under' category requirement. Șfaițer added that they were unable to prevent the departure as Opris was determined to play in the first league, a move he believes was the correct choice for the player.
