Voetbalprimeur.nl reports that Stefán Ingi Sigurdarson is transferring to Go Ahead Eagles from the Norwegian club Sandefjord. According to reports, Go Ahead Eagles would pay three million euros for the transfer. In Deventer, the 25-year-old signs a contract until mid-2030. The transfer is described as a lengthy process. Go Ahead Eagles had previously failed to sign a striker several times before signing Sigurdarson.

The same report states that Sandefjord would probably only agree to a transfer for 30 million Norwegian kronen (2.6 million euro), and that it is not clear if Go Ahead Eagles are prepared to pay that amount.
