Stefan Gartenmann considers Switzerland a good opportunity. He said that his agent is working hard, things are going well, and he hopes not to have to wait long for everything to be settled.

Stefan Gartenmann stated that playing in the Italian league has always been his dream. He mentioned that he has previously come close to playing in Italy several times, but it never materialized. He is now focused on finding a new project and a place where life is pleasant.

In an interview with Bold, Stefan Gartenmann explained the reasons for his departure from Ferencváros, mentioning that the outcome of the April parliamentary elections in Hungary was a factor in his decision. He stated that both parties were open to a contract extension based on discussions with the club, and he received feedback that they wanted to extend his contract. However, Gartenmann did not receive a new contract offer due to limited financial possibilities, which he believes also affected others. He has begun looking for new opportunities and wants to continue playing abroad, as he feels he has experienced everything he wanted in Hungary.

Stefan Gartenmann wrote in a post that his time at Fradi had concluded, adding that he wished he could have stayed at the club for many more years, but that outcomes are not always as imagined. Gartenmann stated that he played through pain at the end of the previous season and later suffered the consequences for it, but he would not have done it differently because they won their 36th championship title. He also thanked Ferencváros for the opportunity to represent them.
