Galatasaray is among the European clubs interested in 23-year-old German and Moroccan midfielder Soufiane El-Faouzi after his remarkable season with Schalke 04. The Istanbul-based club has reportedly submitted an initial offer estimated at 10 million euros that includes a 10% sell-on clause. Other teams, including Bologna FC 1909, Sunderland AFC, and Brentford FC, are also following the situation and are reportedly prepared to invest between 12 and 13 million euros for the player. El-Faouzi is under contract until June 2029. Schalke 04 has already rejected an 11 million euro official offer from Shabab Al Ahli for El-Faouzi. He joined Schalke 04 in July 2025 from Alemannia Aachen for a fee of €200,000. His current market value is €4.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
