A top Algerian club has shown recent interest in Sory Diarra, a 25-year-old Malian striker contracted to FK Haugesund. The management of the Norwegian club rejected an initial offer estimated at 80,000 euros. The Algerian club is determined to finalize the deal and is preparing a new, higher proposal of around 120,000 euros, which is to be sent at the start of the week to convince Haugesund to release Sory Diarra. The forward has one cap for Mali and joined his current club in February 2023 on a contract that lasts until the end of 2026. Transfermarkt estimates his market value at €450k. Previously, other clubs including Gent, PSV and Viking have been linked with him.
