Russian Premier League club Akron is interested in signing Čukarički's 26-year-old Serbian striker, Slobodan Tedić. Tedić could be the first player signed by Blagojević after he took over the club from Tolyatti. Akron's interest is not recent. In previous weeks, there were reports of an offer from Baltika, and the arrival of the Serbian coach has significantly influenced the negotiation development. It is stated that Akron is prepared to allocate approximately one million euros for the transfer. A portion of any future earnings from Tedić's subsequent sale is also due to Manchester City, as the club retains a percentage of any future transfer of the Serbian footballer. If negotiations conclude successfully, Tedić could become the first player signed by Blagojević after taking over Akron and a player for the Russian club for the next Premier League season. Tedić joined his current club in January 2024, and in the 2025/2026 season, he scored 13 goals and provided 5 assists in 36 domestic league appearances. His contract with Čukarički is valid until the end of 2027, and his market value is currently listed by Transfermarkt as €2.50m.
