According to a report from Sport.pl, Sławomir Abramowicz, the goalkeeper for Jagiellonia Białystok and a youth international for Poland, was the subject of interest from four major clubs from Western European leagues in the winter of 2025, one of which was Westerlo.

Initially, Westerlo aimed to acquire Slawomir Abramowicz as their new goalkeeper, but Jagiellonia did not cooperate with the transfer.

Westerlo made an offer for Sławomir Abramowicz, a young goalkeeper at Jagiellonia, but the offer was rejected. Westerlo is evidently looking for a young goalkeeper in Poland, as they had previously made an unsuccessful attempt to sign Aleksander Bobek from ŁKS.
