The 2005-born player, who is owned by Atalanta, has had limited playing time since joining Cesena on loan last summer, making 13 appearances in Serie B for a total of 257 minutes without scoring. Consequently, Atalanta is considering sending Diao on a different loan to allow him to play more consistently.
