Sky Sport reports that Mantova is the leading candidate for the temporary acquisition of Siren Diao, who will be loaned out by Atalanta. Mantova's coach, Francesco Modesto, previously coached Diao in the 2023/24 season at Atalanta Under 23.

According to Tuttomercato, Siren Diao was transferred to Mantova after he had little to no impact in the first part of the season.

Mantova is reportedly interested in attacker Siren Diao for a potential January move. The 2005-born player, who is owned by Atalanta, has had limited playing time since joining Cesena on loan last summer, making 13 appearances in Serie B for a total of 257 minutes without scoring. Consequently, Atalanta is considering sending Diao on a different loan to allow him to play more consistently. Diao's departure from Cesena has been expected for some time, and the club is reportedly already evaluating two profiles in Serie C to strengthen their attack.
