According to Tuttomercato, Sampdoria is searching for a new goalkeeper and is interested in Simone Scuffet, a 30-year-old Italian from Pisa. Scuffet is one of several options being considered for the position, alongside Marco Sportiello of Atalanta and the club's former player Emil Audero. Audero is leaving Como and is considered the leading candidate. Scuffet's contract with Pisa is valid until June 2028, and his Transfermarkt market value is €900k. Venezia has also been linked with the goalkeeper.
