PAOK has reached an agreement with Al Jazira from the United Arab Emirates for the acquisition of Simon Banza on loan. The 30-year-old centre-forward from the Democratic Republic of Congo, who also holds French citizenship, is under contract with Al Jazira until 2028, having joined them from Braga in September 2025 for a fee of €8.5 million. During his time with the UAE club, Banza made 26 appearances and scored 11 goals. Banza has 17 caps and 2 goals for DR Congo. His current market value is €10.00m, according to Transfermarkt. He had also been linked with a move to Nice.
