Levante's sporting director, Héctor Rodas, said the club will fight whatever is necessary before FIFA for the signing of Sergio Akieme, whose registration in LaLiga was late. Rodas emphasized that there are processes that do not depend on them, but on all three parties, and that the RFEF was saturated, which caused the delay. Rodas stated they will appeal to FIFA so the player can be with them and will fight as much as needed. Rodas also noted that LaLiga has been flexible in other cases and they will try for the same flexibility in their case. Akieme joined Stade de Reims in February 2024.
