Sékou Mara, a 23-year-old forward, has recently joined Auxerre on loan from Strasbourg for the rest of the season. He previously played with Mislav Oršić at 'Svecima'. This transfer was made possible by the 'joker-rule' in Ligue 1. This rule allows for one additional acquisition after the main transfer window has closed, on the conditions that the player is from another French club and the league's leadership approves the transfer.
