Norwich City and Glasgow Rangers have both requested information from Palermo regarding a potential transfer for 23-year-old Italian goalkeeper Sebastiano Desplanches. The goalkeeper's future is expected to be away from the Sicilian club, and Palermo is considering either a loan or a permanent sale. Newly-promoted Serie B side Benevento has also made an approach for the player, who has also been linked with Avellino. Desplanches has 16 caps for Italy's U21 team and spent the 2025/2026 season on loan at Pescara, making 25 appearances in Serie B. His contract with Palermo runs until June 2028, and his current market value is €1.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
