12d ago

In an interview with Weszlo.com, Wojciech Pertkiewicz informed that the club is in talks to extend its cooperation with Sebastian Kerk. Pertkiewicz said that there is a chance Kerk will stay, but the club will not pursue it at all costs until the very end. He stated that Kerk knows the club's capabilities and conditions, and also that the circumstances have changed following their relegation from the Ekstraklasa. Pertkiewicz added that he would like to see Kerk stay, but as of that day, a decision had not been made. He thinks the choice of coach is also quite important for Kerk in making a decision. According to Pertkiewicz, there is some optimism that he will stay with them, but there are no guarantees.

Arka Gdynia intends to try to retain German attacking midfielder Sebastian Kerk, 32, and will offer him a contract for a minimum of two years. A clause in Kerk's contract permitted early termination if Arka Gdynia was relegated from the Ekstraklasa. This relegation has happened, allowing Kerk to seek a new employer as a free agent this summer. The former Germany U20 international joined Arka in July 2025. His market value is currently €350k, according to Transfermarkt. He has received interest from several Polish clubs, including Zagłębie Lubin and Motor Lublin. It is reported that Aris Saloniki had an offer for him rejected in February 2026.
