Mjällby signed 19-year-old Norwegian goalkeeper Sebastian Hansen from Norwegian club Odd, with the transfer being announced a few hours before a match in Stockholm. The club's first-choice keeper, Robin Wallinder, said that he was unprepared for the signing, having only found out shortly before the public did. He added that while additional competition for his position is not enjoyable, it is part of the industry. Hansen's contract with Mjällby runs until 31/12/2030, and according to Transfermarkt, his valuation is €300k.
