Following Fortuna Düsseldorf’s relegation to the 3. Liga, Satoshi Tanaka's release clause has decreased from €10m to €1m. The 23-year-old Japanese midfielder is wanted by many other clubs, including further Bundesliga sides. Tanaka, who is a Japanese international, joined Fortuna in January 2026 and has a contract that is valid until 2030. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €2.00m.
