LASK CEO Siegmund Gruber stated on 'Sky' that a sale of captain Sascha Horvath this summer is definitely excluded, adding that he is definitely sure about that. Gruber also said that he does not think the MLS can afford Sascha. He clarified that the club is financially stable and stated that they are the ones who can say yes or no and that they do not intend for anything to happen until the end of the transfer window.

LASK's Austrian central midfielder and captain, Sascha Horvath, has attracted interest from the San Jose Earthquakes in Major League Soccer. It is reported that there is not yet a concrete offer for the 30-year-old. His strong performances last season have apparently attracted international interest. Horvath, who has been with LASK since the summer of 2021 and has made 188 competitive appearances, has a contract that runs until 2028. His market value is estimated at approximately two million euros. He has earned 22 caps and scored 2 goals for the Austria U21 national team.
