TYC reports that Santiago Sosa recently stated his dream is to play in Europe, and although the management has assured they intend for him to stay for the entire term, the possibility of the former River player emigrating is also feasible.

Sosa said in a dialogue with TyC Sports that at the end of the year it will be determined what happens and whether offers will arrive. He added that he is very happy and comfortable, but at the end of the year an evaluation is made and what the club wants and what everyone wants to happen is considered.

Costas stated that he wants him to stay and live at Racing, but that his dream is to play in Europe. In an interview with ESPN, Costas said that if an offer came, he wouldn't put obstacles in his way to leave. Costas acknowledged that Sosa could leave at any moment because of his level. The 26-year-old Argentinian-Croatian centre-back joined Racing Club in January 2025 and his contract runs until the end of 2027.
