Sam Morsy has moved to Ewood Park and made his debut as a substitute in the 2-2 draw against Wolves on Friday.

Blackburn Rovers have signed former Ipswich Town captain Sam Morsy as a free agent on a one-year deal. Sam Morsy left Ipswich in May 2025 after a four-year spell to play for Kuwait SC. He was released by Kuwait SC after only two months and last appeared for Bristol City, scoring the opening goal in the Robins' 4-2 defeat by Norwich in April. Sam Morsy is Rovers' third signing of the summer.
