Sampdoria are targeting 25-year-old Italian forward Samuele Mulattieri to reinforce their attack during the January transfer window for their fight against relegation. The player is currently on loan at Deportivo La Coruña from Sassuolo, where he has made 12 appearances, seven as a starter, and scored one goal. Mulattieri is understood to be available for a return to Italy, and Sampdoria are renewing their interest after having tried to sign him in the summer. His contract with parent club Sassuolo runs until June 2028, and his market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €4.00m. The forward has also been capped five times for the Italy U21 team, scoring three goals.
