Samuel Moutoussamy Transfer from Sivasspor to Atromitos
Gazzetta.gr reports on the official signing of Samuel Moutoussamy by Atromitos from Sivasspor. Atromitos announced the signing of Samuel Moutoussamy from Sivasspor on a free transfer. He signed a two-year contract. The player thanked the technical director, president, and coach for their efforts in making the transfer happen, and mentioned that negotiations lasted several days, partly delayed by his national team duties. He expressed excitement about joining Atromitos and spoke highly of the club after consulting with former teammate Charis Charisis.
Atromitos is poised to sign Samuel Moutoussamy, a 29-year-old midfielder born in France who represents the DR Congo internationally. The club targeted him to bolster their midfield options following the sale of Ismaila Ouedraogo. The deal is understood to be imminent, as Moutoussamy is a free agent following his departure from Turkish club Sivasspor, despite having a contract there until the summer of 2026. Currently in Athens, the player is expected to undergo his medical examinations before putting pen to paper on his contract. He is described as a modern midfielder versatile enough to play as a '6' or an '8' and has already appeared in 4 games for Sivasspor this season. His previous clubs include an eight-year tenure at Nantes, where he won the French Cup, along with time at Lyon and Fortuna Sittard. As per Transfermarkt, his market valuation is currently €1.60m, down from a peak of €4.00m.
