MFK Ružomberok acquired 25-year-old Slovakian defensive midfielder Samuel Lavrinčík from FK Jablonec on a half-year loan with a subsequent possible option for a permanent transfer. Samuel Lavrinčík stated that the first phone call from Ružomberok came after his match in the first round of the Niké league in Dunajská Streda, and that about a week later everything was settled. Lavrinčík previously played for Ružomberok between 2023 and 2025, and after his contract in Ružomberok ended in June 2025, he transferred to Jablonec nad Nisou. Lavrinčík, who is yet to be capped by the Slovakian national team, has a current market value of €225k, according to Transfermarkt.
