Piotr Koźmiński from Goal.pl reported that Widzew's left-back Samuel Kozlovský has attracted the interest of Slovan Bratislava. Tomasz Włodarczyk, in the "Transfer Window" program on the Meczyki.pl channel on YouTube, commented that Widzew is rejecting these offers and wants to have a large squad for the two competitions they are currently playing in.

Slovan Bratysława is interested in acquiring 26-year-old Slovakian international Samuel Kozlovský and would like to sign him now, six months before his contract expires. Widzew Łódź is reluctant to release the left defender at this time and has an option to extend the cooperation for another twelve months. Kozlovský previously played for Slovan Bratysława for several years and began his professional career there. It is stated that this would be a sentimental move, but that it will most likely not happen. Although the situation could change, nothing currently indicates Kozlovský's departure.
