According to a report by Corriere dello Sport, Catanzaro has identified Samuel Giovane, a 23-year-old Italian midfielder from Atalanta, as a target. Last season, Giovane was on loan at Palermo, where he made 17 appearances and two starts. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €1.20m. Carrarese has also been linked with the player.
